DAYTON, Ohio, November 16, 2020— Flying Ace Express Car Wash today announced the donation of $5,000 to Dayton Children’s Hospital in conjunction with the K99.1FM Cares for Kids Radiothon. The donations were collected November 13-15, 2020 at all 8 Greater Dayton Flying Ace Express Car Wash locations, with all proceeds used to support new life-saving and life-changing equipment and technology for the 350,000 kids cared for each year.
Throughout the Dayton Children’s Hospital donation weekend, Flying Ace Express offered a free “Flying Ace” car wash ($15 value) to customers in exchange for a $5 monetary donation. At the campaign’s conclusion, Flying Ace Express gave away more than 815 free car washes, totaling $12,225 at full retail value. In addition, Flying Ace Express sponsored a “Power Hour” during the virtual K99.1FM Cares for Kids Radiothon held November 18-20, 2020. During the Power Hour, Flying Ace Express donated a $25 gift card to patrons pledging a minimum monthly monetary donation to the hospital.

K99.1FM began airing the Cares for Kids Radiothon in 1998 and has raised more than $4.8 million over the last 20 years for Dayton Children’s Hospital, the region’s only medical facility dedicated to children.
